(More customer reviews)I bought this vacuum to replace a household Hoover Windtunnel Bagless.I have to haul my vacuum up and down short flights of stairs constantly, and the Hoover was so heavy, and the maintenance was too much.I can get alot more out of the (expensive) prefilter by blowing it out with an air compressor after every use, but who has time for that?This vacuum is really well designed for carrying.The fold down handle makes this vacuum easy to carry, as does the light weight.I was never happy with an Oreck - although light, it has no onboard attachments, unless you want to spring for a much more expensive model.So far, I have not broken any of the catches that hold the handle in position, but I can see where that could be a problem.
Onboard attachments - comes with a crevice tool and a dusting brush.The brush refuses to stay on the vacuum, so I carry it in my cleaning box so as not to get lost.Suction seems great with the hose, but this vacuum is definitely not as good as the Hoover.That is an amazing vacuum, but this one's size and minimal maintenance required (as with most bagged vacuums) has made it worth it.I will occasionally use the Hoover, just to be thorough, but this one works pretty well, and fits my requirements.Couldn't beat the price either - $130 from a merchant here on Amazon.
